Michael Brown
I was born in England and emigrated in America in 1977 and have lived in Santa Fe since then. As a child I grew up in Central Africa until my mid-teens and then lived in
Abu Dhabi and later in Israel. I am a keen naturalist and an avid fly fisher, making my own flies, landing nets and fly rods. Since returning from Los Alamos National Laboratory I have been able to develop my practical skills in wood working and have become interested in working with clear resin and turquoise. As you can see, each of my pieces is unique, the outcome being dictated by characteristics of the wood. I started out making cutting boards, small boxes, and inlaid walking sticks.
