Our Story
Legends of The West Fine Art was founded by Kristen Griego (b.1991), and established as a store front in the Spring of 2022 in downtown Santa Fe, New Mexico. Kristen grew up in the art world and always aspired to have an art gallery from a young age. Growing up in Santa Fe, and working in one of the top art galleries she was able to be surrounded by incredible art and build close relationships with well established artists over the years. Legends of The West Fine Art has its signature artists whom are local and from around the U.S. who focus on southwest subjects, as well as international artists who are big in the impressionistic art world. Kristen has always believed that art is for everyone to enjoy and it can actually be very emotional to those who connect with it. Representing such amazing artists is an honor and joy. Faith and values are important to Kristen and having good character, integrity and trust is an essential foundation for the success of the gallery. Legends of The West Fine Art specialized in Southwest paintings, sculptures, Native American jewelry and more. Providing a memorable experience for all who visit us in person or online is our goal and passion.

Kristen is a lifelong resident of Santa Fe, NM and her gallery is a labor of love. Kristen is passionate about sharing unique art pieces and connecting with every visitor who walks through the doors. She loves to provide a memorable experience for all to enjoy and is passionate about Santa Fe's vibrant culture and artistry.

Gwen grew up in the artist community, while pursuing painting, inspired by American impressionistic artists and her mother's legacy. She is a member of Women Artists of the West and Plein Air Painters of Mexico, and contributes to the vibrant world of artistic expression. She is an art expert and enthusiast!

Adam, a New Mexican from Gallup, NM is from a family who has been a signficant part of the Native American jewelry world for generations. He is very knowledgeable about the culture and honest in nature. His passion and hard work has allowed him to grow into what we consider the best in the industry.
