Kristen Griego, the visionary and owner of Legends of the West Fine Art and founder of the Studio West Collective, is a recognized leader in New Mexico's art community. Kristen grew up in the art world since she was five years old. Working amongst well established artists and fine art galleries for over fifteen years, brought her to owning a top art gallery in Santa Fe, NM. Kristen was named one of the top 40 under 40 business leaders in 2025. Kristen is passionate about empowering fellow artists through her Artist Management Program, designed for those seeking guidance or wanting to focus solely on their creativity.

 

While these services come with a fee, they offer a unique experience that surpasses hiring a traditional marketing company, thanks to Kristen's deep connections and dedication to helping artists thrive. After working with so many artists and getting lots of art submissions, Kristen saw where artists would struggle on the logistics side of things. Talking to artists about being rejected from galleries and it effecting their confidence as an artist brought Kristen the brilliant idea of one on one artist consulting and management. Artists whose work might not be the right fit for her gallery, have the option of working along side Kristen to learn more about what galleries look for and how to stand out.
