Jess Davila
Jess Davila grew up in the rugged desert and mountain landscapes of Sonora, Mexico, where the natural beauty of his surroundings continues to inspire his work. A completely self-taught artist, Davila creates contemporary stone sculptures in marble, alabaster, sandstone, and limestone, drawing inspiration from the natural shapes, textures, and colors found within each piece of stone. His flowing forms and organic interpretations evoke powerful emotion and reflect his deep appreciation for nature.

Davila is also the founder of the Centro Artístico y Cultural de Huachinera in Sonora, Mexico, a growing arts center dedicated to inspiring creativity, providing artistic education, and creating opportunities for the local community.
