Lisa De St Croix

Lisa de St. Croix was born in Johannesburg, South Africa and received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the School of Visual Arts in New York. Early in her career she apprenticed with artists Miriam Schapiro and Paul Waldman and exhibited her work in Boston and New York.

After moving to New Mexico, she exhibited widely in Santa Fe, Taos, and Albuquerque, and her work has been shown throughout the United States and internationally. Her paintings have received the New Mexico Arts Purchase Award twice and are included in numerous public collections.

 

Based in Santa Fe, Lisa continues to exhibit her work and teach workshops internationally. She is also known for her award-winning Tarot de St. Croix and three Oracle decks inspired by her visionary and spiritual influences.
